The Origin Story

Technically you could go back as far as 1978. To our circle it's somewhat controversial -  so we'll flash forward to sometime in 2021.

Ok, ok, ok - 1978 it is... 

How did Brian and Matt meet?

Matt remembers it slightly differently, so bear with him.  It was a hot, muggy, July day.  Matt, who had a penchant for wearing corduroy in the summer -  was about 5 or 6 years old, Brian, who relentlessly teased Matt about his fashion choices - about 6 or 7.

Brian was the new kid on the street, Matt had lived there for about three or four years now.  There was tension, there was a game of wiffle ball. or tag or something. 

Matt, while extraordinarily skilled at hoops some years later, was not as quick and agile at 5 or 6.  Brian, who would definitely move on to having a very unique way of throwing, batting and shooting a basketball - was (and still is) quite fast.

There was a race, or a tag or something. There was dust, there was bickering, there were rule changes, and heated, swear laced words exchanged from two kids who lived just outside the shadow of Boston.

Brian and Matt started getting into it, while smaller and skinnier at the time, he wouldn't take no crap.  Brian, taller (and more debonair), the exact same way.

For the first and only time. We fought. Fists flying (well two), smashing knuckles together 

What sparked the idea for the company?

One fateful night, Brian and Matt were up late brainstorming ideas for their class project. As they bounced ideas off each other, they stumbled upon a gap in the market that they knew they could fill. And just like that, the seed for their company was planted.

How did they turn their idea into a reality?

With their newfound passion and determination, Brian and Matt worked tirelessly to bring their idea to life. They spent countless hours researching, networking, and fine-tuning their business plan until they were ready to launch their company.

And the rest, as they say, is history. Thanks to their hard work, creativity, and unwavering friendship, Brian and Matt's company has become a household name in the industry.
